The thematic meeting entitled “Biodiversity and Multidisciplinarity” was held on 21 January 2025 as part of the workshop “The World of Microscopic Lifeforms: Limitations and Modern Techniques in Taxonomy” at the Department of Life Sciences, Modena and Reggio Emilia University, Italy. This event was a valuable opportunity for researchers from various disciplines and career stages to engage in an interactive discussion aimed at stimulating dialogue, sharing reflections and knowledge on the topic of biodiversity and Multidisciplinarity. The discussion was structured around ten key questions so that participants could engage in conversation. Participation was active and insightful, with responses collected anonymously in real time via the Wooclap web-app, accessed by each participant on their personal devices. These responses were relevant, thought provoking and enriched the conversation. This contribution pinpoints the main outcomes and insights that emerged from the event.
