Max Weber, over 100 years after his death, is still a key figure in the scientific discussion. The paper - moving from a very recent volume . aims to investigate the innovations pursued by this German academic. Notably, the analysis will turn to the rationalization of law (both positive and negative aspects), acknowledgment, power and legitimacy, and the concept of "disenchatment". In the conclusion, there will be and emphasis on that "third way" of legal realism, which Weber pioneered to some extent.
