The paper presents the main results of a qualitative research on the ideas of creativity of nursery and pre-school teachers. The study, carried out in the Emilia Romagna Region within the CREANET European Project (Comenius Program), provides for the holding of 10 focus groups involving a total of 75 teachers of public and private educational services. The focus group interviews were focused on: the definition of creativity, examples of creative baby, good / bad educational practices that can promote / hinder creativity and the organization of space and materials that can encourage creative processes.
