The method is for realising a mosaic tile, composed by a plurality of tesserae (11) arranged in a geometrically preordered way, wherein the gaps (12) between the tesserae (11) are pre-filled with a filling grout, before the tile is laid. The method comprises following steps: a) arranging the tesserae (11) in the preordered geometrical arrangement, with the front surface (11 a) thereof in contact with the active surface of a heat-deformable flat sheet (20), b) subjecting the heat-deformable sheet (20) to a heating, up until it is sufficiently deformable, c) subjecting the sheet (20) to a pressure differential, smaller on the active surface (20a) with respect to the second surface (20b ), while the sheet is in the deformable state, up to obtaining a partial recessing of the active surface (20a) in the front zone of the gaps (12) of the tile, creating a network of reliefs (21) located at the position of the gaps (12) in the tile; d) carrying out a hardening of the sheet (20), e) filling the gaps (12) with grout (13), inserted through the rear side of the tesserae (11), the tesserae (11) being coupled to the deformed sheet (20), up to abutting the surface of the reliefs (21) in the sheet (20). Thanks to the invention, the grouting operating can be performed in a mechanised way before the tile is put up for sale. The tiles applied to the wall exhibit gaps that are already advantageously and correctly grouted.

Abstract
The tiles applied to the wall exhibit gaps that are already advantageously and correctly grouted.Pubblicazioni consigliate
