The analysis of international production of EU enterprises in the region take into account a broad set of explanatory variables. The following basic strategies are discussed in this chapter for efficiency-seeking FDI, Market-seeking FDI and Strategic-Asset FDI. Where important markets for standardised products are emerging, large multinationals are the dominant investors.
