Abstract

By means of geometric techniques, concerning Seifert fibered homology spheres, we prove that the groups G(n,l), defined by a balanced presentation with n generators and relators, depending on a pair of integers which are odd and coprime, are pairwise non-isomorphic. Extensions of results obtained by A.Cavicchioli and by D.L.Johnson - R.M.Thomas are thus described.
