THE AIM OF THIS STUDY WAS TO ASSESS THE POTENTIAL CYTOTOXICITY OF TWO TYPES OF IMPRESSION DENTAL MATERIALS: POLYETHERS (IMPREGUM PENTA, PERMADYNE PENTA HEAVY AND LIGHT, 3M ESPE AG SEELELD) AND VINYL POLYSILOXANES (ELITE MONO TRAY, MEDIUM AND LOW VISCOSITY, AND ELITE H-D PUTTY; ZHERMAK, BADIA POLESINE, ROVIGO). COCLUSION: THE POLYETHER MATERIALS ARE MORE TOXIC THAN VINYL POLYSILOXANE IN OUR EXPERIMENTAL CONDITIONS, AND THE IMPRESSION MATERIALS ARE CYTOTOXIC TO THE SAME DEGREE IN ALL ASSAY METHODS
