Abstract
After some notes about the socio-cultural aspects implying a reshaping of the mathematics teaching, we speak of our ArAl project, devoted to an early algebra approach, focusing our attention on the teachers. We sketch what we have made for bringing the teachers to acquire awareness about the theoretical frame and aims of the project and, in the same time, how to put into practice new and interactive ways of teaching. We discuss two excerpts of classroom discussion meaningful from the point of view of the decisions-actions of the teacher and of the classroom dynamics. We conclude with some considerations on the teachers’changes and some reflections on the complexity of their role.Pubblicazioni consigliate
