Abstract
We trace the outline of an experimental project on didactic innovation in primary schools aimed at tpromoting an early algebra approach in primary school. The complex structure of this project entails the involvement of teachers in the discussion and reflection on the results of the experiment, making it at the same time a teachers training project. Some examples of classroom activities concerning the translation of arithmetical sentences into algebraic language are discussed from the point of view either of the pupils’ constructions or from the teacher’s behaviour and awareness.Pubblicazioni consigliate
