The development of the scientific knowledge makes the gap between the "savoir savant" and the "common knowledge" wider and wider. Popularizing the Science has therefore become more and more difficult. This turns out to be even harder for the Mathematics. The related difficulties might be partly overcome by using the Tangram game both to explain in a simple way methods and aspects which have always carachterized the development of Mathematics and to oppose main commonplaces about Mathematics. Bearing this in mind we have made first a video (Pellegrino, Zuccheri, 1998) dedicated to the "care of the image of Mathematics" and then (Pellegrino, Ziiccheri, 2007) we have written the introductory chapter of a complete guide to the works on "Popular Mathematics ". Following this path we wish to come across collaborators having the proper expertise and skills in the communication/art field to make a version of the video that is meant to an audience as wide as possible or perhaps to make a work for the theatre, a cartoon or even | comic strip out of it.
