The SEAMLESS (Small Enterprises Accessing the Electronic Market of the Enlarged Europe by a Smart Service Infrastructure) is intended to design and implement an advanced ICT-based infrastructure enabling SMEs to access the eBusiness space created by the Single European Electronic Market (SEEM) and play an active role in establishing and running frictionless dynamic collaborations. The SEEM vision focuses on a Web-based structured marketplace; the SEAMLESS goalas and challenges are: (i) develop a semantic framework allowing integration of eRegistries and eServices, (ii) build a basic collaboration infrastructure to facilitate relationships between companies, (iii) provide a trusted, multilingual, harmonised collaboration and contractual framework, (iv) make all this accessible and affordable to SMEs (especially small companies)
