The lutropin receptor is a member of the superfamily of G protein-coupled receptors and, in humans, binds two closely related ligands, members of the heterodimer glycoprotein hormone family. As reviewed herein, comparative analyses of natural, engineered, and computer-simulated mutations of the lutropin receptor have provided considerable insight into the molecular basis of receptor function.

Abstract
The lutropin receptor is a member of the superfamily of G protein-coupled receptors and, in humans, binds two closely related ligands, members of the heterodimer glycoprotein hormone family. As reviewed herein, comparative analyses of natural, engineered, and computer-simulated mutations of the lutropin receptor have provided considerable insight into the molecular basis of receptor function.Pubblicazioni consigliate
