This contribution aims at evaluating unpaid work contribution to well-being and inequalities in income distribution. We extend the money definition of income to the evaluation of unpaid work. We use statistical matching to obtain a data set with income and time use data to proceed with the required extended income estimation and highlight the inequalities by gender in the income distribution that take place in Italy.
