The article examines how the idea of education developed in practice by Danilo Dolci (1924-1997) lies at the root of an original conception of power and law. It does so through a dialogue with Aldo Capitini and Alberto Manzi, who shared Dolci’s educational commitment and his rejection of the obsession with «normalisation». On this basis, it first reconstructs the distinction between domination, based on one-way transmission, and power, understood as horizontal communication and reciprocal maieutics. This distinction makes it possible to place Dolci within the «other tradition» identified in the work of Hannah Arendt and Andrea Caffi. Educational work thus emerges as the democratisation of both knowledge and power. From a legal-philosophical perspective, this leads to a conception of law not as command but as a «musical seed»: a choral structure of relationships grounded in communication which, starting from the margins, prefigures a different understanding of the legal order.

Abstract
From a legal-philosophical perspective, this leads to a conception of law not as command but as a «musical seed»: a choral structure of relationships grounded in communication which, starting from the margins, prefigures a different understanding of the legal order.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
