Within a vision of education as a space for the co-construction of questions, possibilities, and shared exploration, this chapter offers a reflection on the value of art as a pedagogical and projectbased device capable of activating processes of critical, creative, and reflective thinking in teacher education. The “fear of the blank page,” understood not only as creative blockage but also as the difficulty of designing what does not yet exist, constitutes one of the most frequent challenges in the planning of open educational contexts. It places the adult —even before the child— before the need to imagine, anticipate, and design scenarios rich in possibilities. The experiences presented here continue the project Tierra, mar y aire (Earth, Sea and Air) (Castro-Alonso & Chao-Fernández, 2024), taking shape as two sound playgrounds entitled Viaxe Espacial (Space Journey) (2024) y Bosque Máxico (Magic Forest) (2025). This text presents a reflective revisiting of the experiences through a Reggio-inspired lens, not so much to determine the effectiveness of both projects, but rather to identify: (1) what imaginaries are activated by new generations of teachers and how these reconfigure the contemporary artistic concept; and (2) how it would be desirable to train the adult gaze —curious, critical, and project-oriented— in sustaining openness and accepting indeterminacy, transforming the “fear of the blank page” into a pedagogical opportunity. The interpretation of both processes is based on the perspectives of their protagonists: two groups of 54 and 63 teachers in training, through individual diaries with guiding questions and a final questionnaire with open-ended questions. Both records make it possible to reconstruct or map the overcoming of the initial blockage, the need for anchoring, the drift toward visual repertoires, and the subsequent resignification of part of that uncertainty as learning.

Abstract
Both records make it possible to reconstruct or map the overcoming of the initial blockage, the need for anchoring, the drift toward visual repertoires, and the subsequent resignification of part of that uncertainty as learning.Pubblicazioni consigliate
