Abstract
The media products that we discuss in this book become part of an interpretative and translational chain, which cultural semiotics calls the “transmedial semiosphere”: the cultural space surrounding "The Name of the Rose" becomes a complex space of translation and reinterpretation, as it is simultaneously the space of “intersemiotic translation” between texts (or between different sign systems), that of “discursive practices” in reciprocal translation, and that of “intermedial” and transmedial relations (Saldre and Torop, 2012; Dusi, 2015).Pubblicazioni consigliate
