Below 3 cm, asymptomatic SAAs are not ticking time bombs; above 3 cm, the chance of rupture increases, but a substantiated percentage cannot be given. The upcoming revised ESVS guideline recommendations (Fig. 1) has been presented at the 38th annual meeting of the society (Kra- kow, Poland). These will confirm that open arterial recon- struction, above occlusion, and endovascular repair are recommended treatments, if anatomically feasible. This leads to the conclusion that CST should be preferred, fol- lowed by SE, and finally IT.

Abstract
Below 3 cm, asymptomatic SAAs are not ticking time bombs; above 3 cm, the chance of rupture increases, but a substantiated percentage cannot be given. The upcoming revised ESVS guideline recommendations (Fig. 1) has been presented at the 38th annual meeting of the society (Kra- kow, Poland). These will confirm that open arterial recon- struction, above occlusion, and endovascular repair are recommended treatments, if anatomically feasible. This leads to the conclusion that CST should be preferred, fol- lowed by SE, and finally IT.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
