This paper explores the ethical challenges associated with AI-generated imagery, with a particular focus on controversial content, such as content involving pornographic themes. As artificial intelligence technologies evolve, they are increasingly capable of producing imagery that, while innovative, also raises significant ethical dilemmas. This study aims to navigate the current ethical landscape of AI-generated content, grounded in established ethical and legal principles. Through the examination of both real and hypothetical case studies, we explore the controversies surrounding AI-generated sexual content, examining its potential to both mitigate the use of illegal child imagery and raise concerns over the reinforcement of harmful stereotypes and behaviors. The paper concludes with a call for the urgent integration of ethical considerations into AI development and deployment processes, highlighting the need to promote the responsible use of AI and prevent the escalation of harm.

Abstract
The paper concludes with a call for the urgent integration of ethical considerations into AI development and deployment processes, highlighting the need to promote the responsible use of AI and prevent the escalation of harm.Pubblicazioni consigliate
