Abstract
The current Code of Canon Law of the Latin Church does not renounce to keep alive the idea that the loca sacra are characterized by profound peculiarities, which impose a particular reverence in those who use and visit them. There are several passages of the Code that confirm this attention to the relationship with the otherworldly reality that distinguishes the loca sacra. This persistent theology of hieraticity connected to the locum sacrum - to be combined, obviously, with the idea of the sacred place as a space for the accompaniment and reception of the “living stones” that make up the community - defines the perimeter of the use of this type of place , which is structured on their functionality for the exercise and promotion of worship, piety and religion.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
