Studi sugli Imenotteri Sinfiti della Pianura Padana orientale (Secondo contributo sugli Imenotteri Sinfiti della provincia di Ferrara e delle aree limitrofe)

During the last decade, many samples of sawflies have been carried out in the province of Ferrara and the surrounding areas of Eastern Po Valley by use of Malaise traps. The results of those studies are presented, together with some issues of occasional collecting. Two families (Pamphiliidae and Orussidae) and 42 species have resulted new for the province of Ferrara, 5 of them for the Emilia-Romagna region, and 8 species for the Veneto region. Most interesting are the records of some species rediscovered in Italy, more than a century later the previous ones, in the course of the present study as Eriocampa umbratica (Klug, 1816) or rediscovered very recently like Pamphilius alternans (Costa, 1869) and Dolerus madidus (Klug, 1818), and that of the rare Macrophya erythrocnema Costa, 1859, found in small series in a single place.
