According to recent interdisciplinary researches, “healthism” emerges as a stereotyping technique of the individual and collective subjectivities and as a neogovernamental tool. In this framework, we will focus on the theoretical and practical potentialities of intersectionality with regards to the hierarchies between identities and bodies, starting from inequality as a complex condition that recalls plurality and interconnections of the different roots of discrimination processes. “Healthism” allows to deal with multiple “altering levels” (gender, age, religion, social and economic conditions) and, consequently, to develop the analysis on the alterization as the hystorical basis to affirm the Western legal and social identity.
