The present work aims to offer some reflections on male ritual circumcision in the markedly heterogeneous context that characterizes modern multicultural societies. In particular, the focus is on the jurisprudential orientations of Italy’s Court of Cassation towards the solutions adopted by other European countries, as well as the possibility of introducing a specific law to govern the practice in question in the Italian legal system as well.

Abstract
