Andrés Sánchez Robayna. Por el gran mar: conoscenza, coscienza e lingua

The last collection of the Spanish poet Andrés Sánchez Robayna, Por el gran mar(2019), marks a sort of peak in his poetic trajectory and also sheds a new light on his previous collections. It is a short book, which faces the great challenge of not lo-sing clarity in the face of a shocking and irreparable event such as the premature loss of a loved one, but also proposes the hopeful rebirth of love. Along the lines of a poem intended as an "instrument of knowledge" (Valente), the achievement of a new balance is here recounted with strong support for the metaphor of poetic creation itself, which becomes a sort of meditative thorough bass of the book as a whole: the new identity of the poet, plun-ged into the darkness of pain, must come to terms with the unknown in order to come back to the surface again; this is also true for the poetic word, which, in order to reach the paper, has to do that myste-rious journey from the invisible to the visible, from intuition to knowledge, from the unspeakable eternity to the, though fleeting, presence in the world. In this study we analyze this figuration in which the three thematic strands of knowledge, consciousness and language, come toge-ther. After an overview of the complete work of the poet (who in 2020 celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of his first book) we identify some key passages of the collection and finally pro-ceed to a global review of the lexicon, with its grammatical values (nouns, adjectives, verbs). The work closes with the proposal of seven poems translated into Italian with parallel text.

Por el gran mar (2019) ultima raccolta del poeta spagnolo Andrés Sánchez Ro-bayna, segna una sorta di culmine nella sua traiettoria poetica e getta nuova luce anche sulle raccolte precedenti. Si tratta di un breve libro, che affronta una grande sfida: quella di non perdere la lucidità dinanzi a un evento sconvolgente e irreparabile come la prematura perdita della persona amata, ma che propone anche la speranzo-sa rinascita dell’amore. Sulla linea di una poesia intesa come «strumento di cono-scenza» (Valente), il raggiungimento di un nuovo equilibrio è qui raccontato con il forte appoggio alla metafora della creazio-ne poetica stessa, che diviene una sorta di basso continuo meditativo dell'intero li-bro: la nuova identità del poeta, sprofon-data nell'oscurità del dolore, se vuole tor-nare in superficie deve fare i conti con l'ignoto; così è anche per la parola poetica, che per giungere al foglio deve compiere quel misterioso viaggio dall'invisibile al visibile, dall'intuizione al sapere, dall'indi-cibile eterno alla, pur fuggevole, presenza nel mondo. In questo studio si analizza tale figurazione in cui vengono ad intrec-ciarsi le tre linee tematiche di conoscenza, coscienza e lingua. Dopo una rassegna panoramica sull'opera completa del poeta (che nel 2020 festeggia i cinquant'anni dall'uscita del suo primo libro) si indivi-duano i passaggi chiave della raccolta e si procede infine ad una rassegna globale del lessico, còlto nelle sue valenze grammatica-li (sostantivi, aggettivi, verbi). A conclu-sione del lavoro segue la proposta di lettu-ra di sette poesie tradotte in italiano con testo a fronte.
