Electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (E. s. c. a. ) has been used to examine the selectivity of transition metals complexed in the surface regions of a polymeric Schiff base. On comparison with bulk data, it is evident that the surface has a lower metal concentration as a result of the purification procedures used. Although bulk and surface selectivities are qualitatively similar, they differ quantitatively.

Abstract
Electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (E. s. c. a. ) has been used to examine the selectivity of transition metals complexed in the surface regions of a polymeric Schiff base. On comparison with bulk data, it is evident that the surface has a lower metal concentration as a result of the purification procedures used. Although bulk and surface selectivities are qualitatively similar, they differ quantitatively.Pubblicazioni consigliate
