This essay offers a comparative reading of three different Italian translations of the same emblematic text by José Ángel Valente: the reflection starts from the different editorial collocation of the three versions (an anthology dedicated to Spanish poetry of the second half of the 20th century; an anthology dedicated to the Generation of '50; and a monographic anthology) and goes on to deepen the nuances of meaning linked to the metrics, lexicon and intertextual of the original text.
Il presente saggio propone una lettura comparata di tre diverse traduzioni italiane di uno stesso ed emblematico testo di José Ángel Valente: la riflessione prende le mosse dalla diversa collocazione editoriale delle tre versioni (antologia dedicata alla poesia spagnola del Secondo Novecento, antologia dedicata alla Generazione del '50, antologia monografica) ed approfondisce in seguito le sfumature di significato legate alla metrica, al lessico e ai riferimenti intertestuali del testo originale.
