Childrena are probabply the most photographed subject in the world, second perhaps only to cats and food. Among the most manifest and recurrent representations of childhood is the one that sees children as creatures who came from a state of pre-civilization which they tend to return until they are socialized and thus transformed into adultus.

I bambini sono probabilmente i soggetti più fotografati al mondo, secondi forse soltanto ai gatti e al cibo. Tra le rappresentazioni dell’infanzia più evidenti e ricorrenti c’è quella che concepisce i bambini come creature che provengono da uno stato di pre-civilizzazione a cui tendono a tornare finché non sono socializzati e quindi trasformati in adulti. Questo stato peculiare dei bambini e delle bambine (stranieri/e nativi/e) è origine di sogni e incubi, attrazioni e repulsioni, provoca ammirazione e al contempo inquieta il mondo adulto.
