In this study, the species of algae growth was monitored in environments that were exposed to heavy metal concentration and phytoremediated by the Lemna minor in April-May 2011. The algal species developed in the laboratory studies were identified and also the density of the algae species was determined. Lemna minor is an important species in the studies of bioremediation. In our study we focused on the density of the algae species developed in the cleansed water aftermath the bioremediation by this species, although most of the studies carried out were focused on the heavy metals that biologically treated by this species and the rate of the bioremediation. Thus the result of our study, we think, shall provide an insight to the studies on bioremediation in the natural environments. In our study we put the Lemna minor in the environments of double combinations of 10,4 mg/L Cr, 0,2mg/L Pb and 3mg/L Cu for 48 hours in the 200ml pool water that semi preserved. For each concentration we used 20 leaves of the two to three leaves plants in the 500 ml plastic container. The study was conducted for three times for each concentration and combination. These environments were left in culture for 15 days and consequently the algae developed were determined by species and the density. Diatom species were also determined. The species of Achnanthes exigua, Amphora ovalis, Aphanothece microscopica, Chroococcus minutus, Diploneis sp., Epithemia sp., Lyngbya sp., Navicula sp., Oscillatoria sp., Protococcus viridis., Pseudoanabaena catenata, Scenedesmus quadricauda were identified. Also the list of the species of algae developed in the each heavy metal concentration was prepared and the differences between the species were examined and showed in graphics
