Abstract

The localization experience for the e-prescription, based on the Health Level Seven Version 3 (HL7v3) Clinical Document Architecture, Release 2 (CDA Rel.2), is presented. As application, we propose a project of General Practitioners Integration with the EHR (Electronic Health Record), implementing the e-prescription, patient summary and other CDA Rel.2 documents. The integration is made possible with HL7v3, the most widely used standard for healthcare information interoperability. The project is in line with the state of the art in the normative referring context for the Italian Healthcare, both at national and regional level (Tuscany Region). Final remarks are drawn, also referring to the European epSOS and IPSE ehealth project
