This research sets out to identify the logic of organizational action in the union relating to the inclusion of migrants within union structures. The logic of organizational action is defined as the intentional and bounded rationality that “influences the behavior and performance of organizations whose decisions as such are only one aspect.” The focus is not migrants’ membership intended as recruitment, but their inclusion in positions of responsibility and representation within unions. Concurrently, the paper seeks to understand the meaning of “diversity” that is attributed to migrants working within unions and to find the links between the connotations of diversity and inclusion logics.

Abstract
This research sets out to identify the logic of organizational action in the union relating to the inclusion of migrants within union structures. The logic of organizational action is defined as the intentional and bounded rationality that “influences the behavior and performance of organizations whose decisions as such are only one aspect.” The focus is not migrants’ membership intended as recruitment, but their inclusion in positions of responsibility and representation within unions. Concurrently, the paper seeks to understand the meaning of “diversity” that is attributed to migrants working within unions and to find the links between the connotations of diversity and inclusion logics.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
