Abstract

A nozzle (1) is capable of producing a mixing of twoprimitive fluid jets (2) and (2') and a selective andcontrollable angular deviation of the synthetic jet (7)obtained by mixing the primitive jets 5 without any movingmechanical part. The nozzle (1) is also capable ofgenerating a controllable deviation of the synthetic jetand of changing the direction of this jet in a continuousand dynamic manner so as to allow the jet to sweep a10 preset and arbitrary angle. The nozzle (1) isconstituted, in a first part thereof, by a conduit (8)divided into two channels by a central baffle (9) and, ina second part thereof, by a convergence zone and anoutflow mouth (5) whose walls have a curvilinear profile15 and are connected seamlessly to the walls of the conduit.[Fig. 1]
