Abstract
The syntactic properties of the article-system, along with a description of its development across the history of Greek, are sketched here through an implementation of theoretical tools provided by formal syntax on data collected from four diachronically distinct varieties. The rise of the article-system is described as a sequence of minimal changes in the representation of the features encoded on the head of nominal structures.Pubblicazioni consigliate
