The proficiency course for Expert in Web Cultural Accessibility and Communication organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia aims at providing competences in cultural accessibility, that is to say the capability for the largest number of persons to access to cultural heritage and cultural information, according to the principles stated by International Conventions, in particular the UN Convention on the Right of Persons with Disabilities (2007). This will be possible thanks to the use of systems and web devices that will allow, in particular, access to web sites, databases and digital libraries also through the use of assistive technologies.

Abstract
