The volume aims to introduce the reader to the practices and tools of educational research in museum settings. Starting from the origin and the functions of museums and museum education, the focus is addressed on the main elements of museum research methodology, in order to give examples of educational programmes based on empirical designs, which will allow for the use and appreciation of cultural heritage.
Il manuale si propone di avviare il lettore alle pratiche e agli strumenti della ricerca educativa in ambito museale. Partendo dall’origine e dalle funzioni del museo e della didattica museale, l’opera si concentra sugli elementi cardine della metodologia della ricerca al museo, per poi fornire esempi di percorsi educativi di fruizione e valorizzazione del patrimonio basati su disegni empirici.
