For none of the prison administrations European Union, the relationship between parents and children prisoners is a priority. Yet all fit this theme in their work agendas. All argue that the issue of childhood needs to be addressed. And that's good, is progress. But between making this issue a subject of reflection, and make it a priority in the choice of prison policy, there is a big difference.
