From this study emerges, in comparison with it was observed in young adults, that the suoramedullary neurons of old specimens show:lysosomes more numerous, mitocondria with a reduced number of cristae, some atpical Golgi complex a drastic reduction of the rough endoplasdmic reticulum.

Abstract
