Tools and services offered by web 2.0, which are very simple, intuitive and free, can be useful instruments for university museums to create and share online text contents, pictures, audio, video, built and manipulated by museum professionals also in collaboration with users, in order to give a wider visibility and diffusion to cultural heritage of university museums.The use of web 2.0 tools, which allows the direct intervention of users in the creation and sharing of content, promotes the participation of publics and a fluid approach to information concerning university museums, that is to say that a greater openness and sharing for a diffusion of knowledge.
