The report describes the results of a survey of the main economic and einvironmental issues of the evolving EuroMediterranean Free Trade Area (EMFTA). After reviewing the main trends in trade and investment flows and the structure of the international trade and investment agreements of the region, the resport identifies the priorities and the critical issues for more detailed studies in second phase of the project.
