In the academic year 2009/2010 the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in collabotiratio with the Central Insitute for Cataloguing and Documentation (ICCD) of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, is organising the third edition of the Master's degree in Digital Cataloguing for Enhancing Cultural Heritage. The purpose of this Master's degree is to design the professional role of the document centre manager, as defined by the European Frames of Reference for Museums Professions.
