The paper describes a framework for the development of a diagnosismethodology for industrial manufacturing systems. The aim of the project is tosupport technicians that supervise the manufacturing plant to identify the causesof faults and failures on the machine and, in particular, to indicate a procedurefor the recovery of its working condition.
