INTRODUCTION:Clinical skill lab plays a very important role in the development of observation ability, practical and intellectual skills (Infante et. al. 1985). In addition, the clinical skill lab is a golden opportunity for nurse students to learn approaching reality with problem solving in a supervised learning environment (Schweer 1972). OBJECTIVES:a) Deep knowledge and documentation of the number of nursing credits (clinical skill lab and credits for clinical practical activities).b) To identify people, such as nurse educators or clinical instructors who improve nursing student learning process. c) To define the teaching methods adopted in nursing lab days and to specify the number of students for each nurse educator.d) To define the working reference model for clinical practice and to specify the number of students for each clinical instructor.METHODS:Research model: descriptive and quantitative.RESULTS:Answer rate: 81% (out of the 26 courses involved, 21 answered).LEARNING METHODOLOGIES used in the clinical lab skill: 67% of courses grants developed in small groups of students; PRACTICAL EXERCISES SIMULATION IN NURSING EDUCATION: all 21 Degree Courses (12 ROLE-PLAYING, 10 TEAM WORK, 7 TRADITIONAL LESSONS, 6 PROBLEM BASED LEARNING).CLINICAL PRACTICE: in 77% of Degree Courses students work together with a PROFICIENT NURSE and they are in relation to him: 1:1 or 3:1; in 14% of the courses a NURSE INSTRUCTORis always present during the clinical practice in the ward (2 courses didn't answer to this question); the Nurse instructor plans and organizes the clinical practical activity for each student dealing with personalized learning objectives. At the end of the clinical practical period, each student receives a clinical assessment by the nurse educator, the clinical instructor and the ward team: this is true for every degree courses interviewed.
