In S. Lins-A. Mandel, Discrete Math. 57 (1985) it was constructed a family of closed connected 3-manifolds by means of edge-colored 4-graphs. In the present paper, we describe several algebraic properties satisfied by the fundamental groups of such manifolds.

Abstract
