The challenge of the book “The Time’s Islands”; Palaeobotany for kids

Who does not know the Brontosaurus or Tyrannosaurus rex? Almost all. How many know Rhynia and Sigillaria? Almost nobody. “The Time’s Islands” is the first book for children that specifically describes the evolution of the plant world. In this case the plants are actors and not the background for the animal’s adventures! The project was born to disseminate Palaeobotany and to share our love for the lost green world. The book starts with an amazing eventful story, carrying on with a "travel diary", over thirty botanical plates covering the main themes of evolution with scientific (but attractive) illustrations. The book ends with a herbarium of living plants, suggestions for practical activities and a suggestive illustrated chronology. The work also had an edition in French; the authors and publisher are looking for someone who has an interest to make an edition in English.
